Bicyclist Finishes 320 Miles of Rock River Trail

Congratulations to Jason Schneider of Sterling, IL for completing the entire Bike Route of the Rock River Trail! He traveled from September 19 – 22, 2022.

Jason says of his adventure: ” What an awesome adventure and I am thankful for the opportunity to get to do this. There is so much to see by bicycle that you would miss just driving by. So much beautiful country out there. It definitely brings new appreciation for what the Rock River offers. I was fortunate to get to meet a few people along the way and share my experience too. It was so cool to see how each community utilizes their riverfront areas.”

The Rock River Trail  has a 320-Mile Award for those individuals who reach the goal of doing the whole 320 miles of the Rock River Trail, whether it’s hiking, biking, paddling or driving. Those who finish the trail will be recognized on our 320-Mile Wall of Fame and awarded the Rock River Trail patch and 320-Mile Award rocker patch. To recognize Jason’s accomplishment, we’ve added him to the 320-Mile Wall Of Fame.
